Hemeroscopium House by Antón García- Abril

The Hemeroscopium House was formed around the idea of defying physical limits. Composed of heavy structural elements, it defines it's aesthetics with perfectly placed beams that create an aerial effect. The seemingly unstable structure took only 7 days to build, but a year to perfect. Complex calculations were involved in creating the perfect balance, aerial quality and overall appearance. The use of heavy concrete gives an industrial, modern look but flows beautifully with it's natural surroundings.

Karim Rashid

Karim Rashid does everything from art, to clothing, to furniture design and interior decor. These photos are from a mall space he designed in Moscow Russia. His colors are so vibrant and the designs look so surreal. The use of lighting in the space enhances the fun colors and sleek look of his designs. Oh how I would love for this man to come and design a room in my home..
